The St. John the Evangelist Guadalupanas started in the 1988 under the pastoral leadership of Fr. Arturo Mesa and Fr. Guillermo Morales.
The Guadalupanas is formed by a group of people with devotion to the Holy Mother of God, the Virgin Mary of the Americas, Our Lady of Guadalupe.
The purpose of our group is to:
1. Give honor and praise to Our Lady of Guadalupe, Patroness of the Americas.
2. To increase the devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe
3. We consecrate ourselves to the Love of Jesus through Mary, “Our Virgen de Guadalupe”
4. We Encourage our members and parish families to bear witness to the love of God, live the life of Christ, and honor His most Blessed Mother under her title of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
5. To come together annually during the month of December as members and with fellow Parishioners to celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe (December 12).
We Support Our Parish Annual Festival (Jamaica) by selling food.
We Celebrate praying publicly the nine day novena, starting December 4rd to December 12th.
